Garvald Edinburgh has five sites, with the furthest from their headquarters in Gorgie being Mayfield House.
Here, Garvald host five workshops – jewellery, garden group, pottery, textiles, and kitchen.
In the kitchen, Garvald receive weekly supplies of organic fruit and veg from East Coast Organics, and ethical wholefoods from Greencity. In addition, sometimes there is surprise surplus from staff gardens and allotments.
Every day, service users help make scones, soup, a main course, pudding, biscuits and various salads for our members and staff. Delicious!
